What is CanSat?

CanSat is an ESA-sponsored project which consists of building a satellite the size of a can. Everything is home-made:  the antenna, the can, etc...

If you make it to the final, your CanSat will be launched 1km into the atmosphere. You must then collect data from your satellite.
